1. Why is it not tin-coated?

Making chappatis and other flatbreads on our Brass Tawa is safe without any tin coating.

2. What is the best way to clean Brass and Copper utensils?

You can use a normal dishwashing soap to clean the utensils from the inside and Pitambari or a paste made from Flour (Atta), Vinegar/lemon Juice, and salt can be applied on the outside to retain the shine of the utensils.

3. What if the Roti Tawa gets darkened after some time?

Since the Roti Tawa is made from 100% pure Brass metal, it requires a medium flame to cook the rotis. If you see any black residue on your tawa, this might be because of the high flame. It can be easily cleaned with Pitambari!

1. We saw our Thatheras using brass tawas in their houses. But, we didn't quite realise the market potential of this product at that time. However, we love the response and the increasing requirement of a lot of our customers for the Roti Tawa.

2. Since brass and copper are good conductors of heat, cook food on medium to low flame. This would also help you to save gas. They are an intelligent step towards sustainability.
